Meet Student Ambassador Aashita Doshi

Why did you become a Student Ambassador?

I became a student ambassador to give back to my UT Dallas community and help foster meaningful relationships between alumni, faculty, and students. I hope to support campus initiatives, strengthen connections within the university, and contribute to a more engaged and connected community.

What has surprised you most about yourself since starting at UTD?

What has surprised me most about myself since starting at UTD is how easily I can step outside my comfort zone. I’ve discovered that I genuinely enjoy the growth that comes from uncertainty and challenge, and that pushing myself in new situations opens doors to opportunities I never thought I’d seek.

Favorite UTD Tradition:

My favorite UTD Tradition is Oozeball and the Thomsen Fund events!

Interesting Fact:

At any given point of time, you’ll find me consuming matcha and anything historical fiction-related.
