Summer Tradition Connects Comets
Nearly 200 UT Dallas alumni, along with family and friends, gathered for the University’s annual Signature Summer Event held at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Guests mingled while enjoying great weather and views of sailboats and the sun setting over White Rock Lake. Chicago Reloaded, a Chicago tribute band, provided the entertainment. Attendees also contributed canned goods to benefit Comet Cupboard, UT Dallas’ food pantry for students.
“It is great that past, present and future Comets can come together and enjoy an evening of food, music and great company,” said Yessenia Mendez BS’11, MBA’14. “I will definitely be attending for years to come.”
Comets and guests enjoyed the sunset and beautiful views of White Rock Lake while soaking up the sounds of the music alfresco.
